Issue Description

On the device manager, when importing the license file, system show us the error as below:

Alarm Information

The license file is invalid

Handling Process

1. Open the license file to check if the product and ESN are right

2. Import the license file through CLI to confirm if the browser is wrong

A. Upload the license file to the directory "/home/permitdir/" via FTP tool(Winscp)

B. Run the command below to check if it is successful to import the license

import license ip=ARRAYIP user=admin password=****** license_path=/home/permitdir/LICOceanStor5500V3V300R001_XXXXXXXXXX.dat

3. If the steps above still don't work, we can collect the system log and check the log as below:

[2015-04-30 11:11:33]close "/OSM/export_import/license.dat" bytes read 0 written 3061

[2015-04-30 11:11:33][687947331][150000069003f][ERROR][Calculate license workspace size(382) failed.

    With the log, we can see, system received the license file with 3061 Bytes, but when trying to caculate and apply it, system stopped with 382 Bytes.

Root Cause

The Bytes which can be caculated and applied in the license file are less than the total. So, the license file is destroyed.

Please login the license platform to download the new license file and import it again.
