When adding SC on SMC2.0, error of 'The SMC cannot communicate with this device' was given.
As the picture shown below:
SMC2.0&SC Version: V100R003C10SPC900
1.Checked the network where the SC and SMC2.0 were deployed, and confirmed that they are connected to the same switch in the same VLAN.
2. Logged in the SC with SSH2(IP with 122 port, account/password: admin/Change_Me) and checked the associated configuration on SC with the following command, found that:
 dis manage-ip
 dis service-ip
Both of manage-ip and service-ip is 10.x.x.11.
3. Checked the IP plan of videoconferencing devices, found that:
The IP of SMC2.0 is 111.x.x.24
The IP of SC is 111.x.x.23(LAN1) and 10.x.x.11(LAN2)
4. Confirmed that the IP of SC planned to connect SMC2.0 is 111.x.x.23, not 10.x.x.11.
After changing the manage-ip to be 111.x.x.24 on SC with the command below, The SC able to be added on SMC2.0, and the issue was resolved.
system-view sys-config security-config manage-ip add ip 111.x.x.23
The manage-ip of SC was wrongly set to be that of LAN2, the correct manage-ip is the IP of LAN1 according to the IP plan.
Change the manage-ip of SC to be the correct one.
