The touch pad will disconnect from the TP host frequently and there will be an error message on the touch pad. If restart the TP, it can be fixed temporarily and will re-occur later.
Analyzing the TP host logs, it’s found not only the Touch pad will disconnect from the TP host, but also for the camera and codec. So, suspect the network issue.

Check internal network interface mode for TP host. It’s set as 100M, full duplex, while the corresponding port on the switch is Auto mode. So, the interface mode is not consistent with each other and sometimes will cause the network disconnection. Change the interface mode on the TP host and this issue is fixed.
