Fusioncompute failed to mount CD

Issue Description

can't mount cd on any vm on specific hosts using VNC

Handling Process

check that cd service is running
service rcdromsvc status
if yes :

1.      Login the CNA, execute the command cat/proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes,

And find min_free_kbytes is big, the normal data is about 10000.

And check the /proc/zoneinfo:

The free data need to be bigger than min.



1)Execute the command in CNA, to modify the /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes to 10485.

echo 10485 > /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes

2)and modify the vm.min_free_kbytes in /etc/sysctl.conf to 10485.

Vm min_free_kbytes = 10485

3)Execute the command to make the change OK.

sysctl –p

4)Execute the command to make the changes to be Persistent.

configure_backup -u dsware -m /etc/sysctl.conf

uvp_configer_bakup -u DS -m /etc/sysctl.conf


5 ) Finally execute the command.

service rcdromsvc restart
