CDR Agent cannot connect to CDR Server, FTP issue.

Issue Description

When server restart by customer mistake, CDR Agent cannot connect to CDR Server.

CDR Server and Agent in use is version V100R001.

Message tha cannot be connected  CDR Agent to CDR Server displayed:

Handling Process


The analysis and diagnosis was :

  • Because both are installed and running in the same server, network problem is discarded.
  • Verify and confirm the IP address of the CDR server and password are correct:

  • Confirmed the FTP in use is from CDR Server: 


  • Identify which FTP services are running:

netstat -ano | findstr 21

  • Found some FTP service running and established before:

  • Beacuse only one FTP service need to be running, using these commands for identify current FTP service in use:

netstat -ano | findstr 21

tasklist | findstr XXXX    where XXX is the task asociated with port 21

  • After stop FTP Service related to task XXXX, connection test now is sucessfull.

Root Cause

Found other FTP service was running (Filezilla), so that was blocking the port 21 used in CDR FTP Server.


Stop Filezilla FTP service, try again the connect test between CDR Agent and CDR Server and connect sucessfull.


Where the CDR Server and CDR Agent is installed and in use, only have one FTP enabled and running.
