The management IP should be from the same segment with all the IP addresses, the customer can not set the management IP from another network segment.
An error occured when our client tried to set the management IP from the same network segment.
Many customers do not have a separate network management and production network.
We can configure management network and production network in the same subnet. Please follow the step below:
1. Login CLI command line;
2. Execute command “change user_mode current_mode user_mode=developer” and enter developer mode;
3. Execute command “change port eth_network_segment switch=on” to enable the switch.
In below we have an example from CLI for how to do that:
login as: admin
