Handling Process

GTAC help customer to exclude the affect of obstacles and external interference, then found all the channel usage of 5G is extreamly high, which cause the signal deteriorates and AP fault.

Root Cause

By analyze the radio, GTAC found customer use the both two 5G channel on AP8130 to build up Mesh link, and the channel as 36, which cause serious internal interference.

In the configuration, the Mesh-profile has been bind to the 2 radio of the AP group.

Solution

1. GTAC suggest to use only one 5G channel to build up the Mesh link,the other 5G channel for access and work in difference channel;
2. GTAC suggest to use 40MHz for Mesh link , to extend the bandwith and improve the preformance;
3. GTAC suggest to use the default EIRP parameter, 127;
After optimize the radio configuration, the channel usage is resume to normal, the AP no longer fault,

Suggestions

To get rid of incorrect configuration cause by misunderstanding of Mesh, we suggest forbidden to configure more than one channel to build up Mesh link.
