Login iMana Web interface by domain name failed on RH2288H V2 after upgrade iMana

Issue Description

Fault symptom: Firmware Upgrade from iMana 6.10(U1029) BIOS (U102) V389 to iMana (U1029) 7.27 and BIOS (U102) V516. After Upgrade, the customer can’t connect to iMana web
interface via hostname. It works only with the IP address.

Version information: iMana 7.29, BIOS V516

Handling Process

1. We checked the DNS and hostname setting on iMana, it's correct.

2. Verify DNS resolving on host. Since it's Windows OS, we use "nslookup [domain name]", it's working too.
3. Then, we checked the fault appearance again.

It seems that the error not caused by DNS name.

4. We set the http host on iMana command line and it's working.

Root Cause

After iMana 7.26 version, because of security reason, the domain name is disabled in default.


Add the domain to iMana http host list, the command is below: ipmcset -d httphost -v [hostname]
