Fault symptom: Firmware Upgrade from iMana 6.10(U1029) BIOS (U102) V389 to iMana (U1029) 7.27 and BIOS (U102) V516. After Upgrade, the customer can’t connect to iMana web
interface via hostname. It works only with the IP address.
Version information: iMana 7.29, BIOS V516
1. We checked the DNS and hostname setting on iMana, it's correct.
2. Verify DNS resolving on host. Since it's Windows OS, we use "nslookup [domain name]", it's working too.
3. Then, we checked the fault appearance again.
It seems that the error not caused by DNS name.
4. We set the http host on iMana command line and it's working.
Add the domain to iMana http host list, the command is below: ipmcset -d httphost -v [hostname]
