Issue Description
Cache power-off protection solution of RAID controller card.
Intelligent battery backup units (iBBUs) or supercapacitors (recommended) can be used to improve cache data security of servers.

• iBBU:
If a server is powered off unexpectedly, data will be stored in the DDR.
The iBBU provides power to the DDR to ensure normal operation.
The data protection time is generally 48 to 72 hours.
The iBBUs require charging and discharging. This may affect the server performance for 4 to 9 hours.
An iBBU needs to be replaced every one to two years.

• Supercapacitor:
When a power failure occurs, the supercapacitor provides power to the RAID controller card, DDR, and trans flash module (TFM), ensuring data is migrated from the DDR to the TFM.
After the data is migrated to the TFM, the supercapacitor no longer needs to provide power to the cache.
It takes little time to charge and discharge a supercapacitor, with no impact on system performance.
A supercapacitor will last as long as the server.
