IP phone rings take too much time, how to reduce the number of rings?
User A call user B ring for long time
We use a work around solution to reduce the IP Phones ringing time
we can make work around solution when we need to reduce the ringing of phone B, we can make forward on replay on user B and make forward to IVR and listen to msg sorry the number you dialed cannot be answer
1.go to IPT LMT foder>tools>make
tone>voice>voice_english(american), and copy the 112.pcm(to listen to msg Sorry, the number you dialed cannot be answered at this time. Please dial again later.) file and rename
it 256(if not used)
2.Start the LMT and chooseVersion >Voice
Log in to the
device using the LMT
voice file area, clickBrowse
(chose the language you need ), selectvoice.zip ormrsvoice.zip,
desired device and clickLoad.
Status is Loading succeeded, the loading is completed.
3.go to the u1960 Web page> system> VU management>customize switch board >create >and use the 256
4.create prefix > script name and choose the script we made
5.go to Sipuser> choose the SIP user>Service configuration
> Forwarding service configure>forwarding on replay enable forwarding to number and reduce the waiting time to 30 sec put the
forwarding number as the switch board (IVR)
the default ringing time is 1 min the customer want to reduce it to be only 30 sec
make work around solution to forward the call recived by user B to IVR and listen to msg same as the msg heard when no reply
