Rename computer name failed when provision in FusionAccess R6 with error code: 920000002
For FusionAccess R6, change the computer name will check the two points:
1.The template tool will put Sysprep.exe into the windows\system32 directory when creating the template, and add the registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Session Manager:
2. Sysprep.exe will output log to registry:SYSTEM\LOGS when deploying VM.
In most cases, VM name change failure because of sysprep is not running, when deploying failed, engineer can check whether the registry that system32\sysprep is exist in and check whether sysprep can print the log as above.
1.If there is no relevant documents, it indicates that the template have problem, please create another template and try again.
2.If it didn’t print log, maybe because of antivirus software or security software affects in the template, if it exists, then please add the Sysprep.exe process to the access control list of the antivirus software or security software.
