Issue Description

S12704

Software: V200R010C00SPC300

The customer claimed that after he configured the following commands , the AP will select a channel that is not present in the list, after calibration.(example : channel 40)

regulatory-domain-profile name profile_x

country-code NL

dca-channel 5g channel-set 36,44,52,100,108,116,124,132

Accoring to documentation , the dca-channel channel-set command configures a calibration channel set.

Below we can see that the AP selected channel 40 , although channel 40 is not present in the list

Solution

The reason that the AP’s select other channels instead the channels configured with dca-channel command is the following:

        - If the AP detect the radar signal at 5GHz channel, the AP will switch to another channel. All the AP vendor follow the backoff mechanism.

Radar Channel Channels 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136, and 140 can be used as radar
channels. If the channels supported by some countries or regions overlap with the radar signals, avoid using the radar channels.

AP will switch to all the channels the country-code supported randomly , not guarantee the non-radar
channels, normally the non-radar channels is prior.

Installing the V2R11C10 version will solve this. (the firmware will be released in November)
Thanks!
