We have the following scenario, customer is using eSpace 7910 with an LDAP server, the customer does not understand the usage of the field 'LDAP Number Attribute'.
After several Lab tests the customer performed with eSpace IP phones and one LDAP servers. In these tests, if the LDAP number attribute was left blank, the IP phone was still identifying when it was calling one of the numbers stored on the LDAP server. If left blank it should not identify any caller on the LDAP server.
The Query upon call from Call history was enabled so the IP phone was checking the call history and matching DAP numbers from the server, even though the LDAP Number Attribute was blank.
We asked the customer to disable in Call History, Query upon call, and afterwards the LDAP number attribute was behaving correctly.
