In FusionCube 6000(3 * XH628 V3) VMware Scenario. The system topology and connection as follow.
The installation progress hanged at 50% as following.
Check the detail of the installation logs.
Follow the description in the installation logs and log in KVM of the CVM, found that cannot configure the IP address automatically by installation tool.
Configure the CVM IP address manually use the following command.
ifconfig eth0 10.100.33.226 netmask 255.255.255.0
Check the network connection between FusionCube Builder (FCB) in local installation PC and the CVM.
ping 10.100.33.226 from FCB is OK
ping FCB from CVM(10.100.33.226) is failed
Login to the switch, ping CVM (10.100.33.226) is ok, but ping FCB failed.
The Switch configuration and physical cable connection is OK
Check the windows firewall configuration in local installation PC
When open the windows firewall configuration page, it shows the anti-virus software protection.
After disable the windows firewall and the anti-virus software installed in local PC, reinstallation the system successfully.
The anti-virus software installed in local PC blocked the connection from CVM to FCB.
