Unable to access iMana portal from public network for RH2288H V2

Issue Description

In the network, there are 2 V3 servers, 4 V2 servers and 2 storages.

IBMC portal for V3 servers and Device Manager portal for storages are able to be accessed from public network except the iMana portal for remaining V2 servers.

Network has no issue as it has been diagnosed and analyzed for port configuration, cable connection and many more.

Handling Process

We ensure:

1) iMana is able to access through internal network.

2) No alarm shown (no hardware error).

3) Firewall is disabled for the server.

4) Port 443 is enabled.

Root Cause

If the issue persist, it means that the RH server has forbid the external NAT server to access for security reason.


We would require to add the external IP to whitelist manually.


  1. Login to iMana by SSH
  2. Input command: ipmcset -d httphost -v x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the external net ip.
  3. There will be a statement: Set httphost success.

The iMana portal will be able to access using external network in a few seconds.
