Issue Description

We have the following scenario:

  1. extension A have call forwarding active to a mobile phone number.
  2. When an external user calls Phone A the call forwarding option is not working.
  3. If an internal user (extension B) calls Phone A the call forwarding option works properly.
Handling Process

1. Collected the logs from the LMT

2. By analyzing the logs it has been identified that the calls were not being established due to a trunkgroup restriction:

Root Cause

After analyzing the logs it has been concluded that the issue was caused by the Trunk rights restriction.

The nature of the call was [DDD] while the trunkgroup 2xxx through which the call was passing was having only [INTER/LOCAL]  rights.

In order to resolve the issue the following command should be executed:

config modify trunkgroup no 2xxx restrict yes outgoingright inter&local&ddd
