Error received in TE40: Number of connections to the endpoint has reached the limit.

Publication Date:  2017-12-13 Views:  896 Downloads:  0
Issue Description

When you attempt to use Telnet to access the endpoint, a message is displayed to indicate that the number of connections to the endpoint has reached the limit.

When you receive such an error message you need to check how many users are connected via Telnet and/or via SSH to the same terminal and in the same time.

You need to know that actually the TEX0 Series have limited access in terms of users number allowed to access the terminal in the same time.

Capabilities are the following:

  • A maximum of seven SSH and Telnet connections to the endpoint is allowed.
  • A maximum of three SSH connections to the endpoint is allowed.

The final solution is to disconnect the unnecessary users that are currently loged onto the terminal.
