Customer is asking how to set a threshold and get alarm when outbound traffic exceeds a specified bandwidth on an interface.

Solution

In order to generate an alarm for the outbound traffic you will have to 1. Create a monitoring template and 2. Make a task that will be applied to device/interface.

3. Select performance counters select the tempalte you previously configured at step 1. Create a monitoring template
