Coffer disks are seen as faulty and the storage boots up in minisystem mode.
Check all disks in CLI via Putty.
In minisystem mode run:
Check disk slot and disk id.
For following situations:
Coffer disks from another storage system were used.
Non-coffer disks were used.
Disks reinserted in the wrong order.
The storage can't read consistency system configuration from coffer disk, and the storage will enter minisystem mode.
1. In minisystem mode run command:
check disk slot and disk id
2. For sector size 512/520 run all 3 commands:
disktool -f w -a 0x80000 -l 16 -C 0x00 -I 1 /dev/sd-??a
disktool –f w -a 0x80800 -l 8 -C 0x00 -I 1 /dev/sd-??a
disktool –f w -a 0xFF800 -l 16 -C 0x00 -I 1 /dev/sd-??a
For sector size 4096/4160 run all 3 commands:
disktool -f w -a 0x10000 -l 2 -C 0x00 -I 1 /dev/sd-??a
disktool -f w -a 0x10100 -l 1 -C 0x00 -I 1 /dev/sd-??a
disktool -f w -a 0x1FF00 -l 2 -C 0x00 -I 1 /dev/sd-??a
replace ?? with disk ID
3. Reboot system:
rebootsys command on all controllers.
