Error message: The OS is not supported

FusionCompute Version: V1R6C10

Alarm Information

The OS is not supported

Handling Process

PV drivers / tools installed and updated. Tools are running.

Root Cause

the snapshot function is disabled in the VRM manifest list / configuration file

Edit the configuration file for Windows OS and enable snapshots and memory snapshots.

1. Login to active VRM as root and go to the following location:

cd /opt/galax/vrm/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/

2. Edit with vi the file osConfig_Windows.Properties

Set the "true" value for "Support MemSnapshot" and "SupportDiskSnapshot"

3. Go to the path: /opt/galax/sia

Edit file "" just like the first one, replacing "false" value with "true" under Snapshot features.

4. Do the same for the standby VRM. Then reboot both VRM VMs one by one.

Snapshots will be available after VRM restart.
