Issue Description

A normal disk was inserted in slot3 to another storage by mistake. This disk has became coffer disk and cannot be used for data.

To recover the disk we need to convert a coffer disk to a normal data disk.

Alarm Information

Disk rejected by the system. A coffer disk from another storage system cannot be used for data.

Handling Process

We can refer to the restricted command line document and use change disk clearerrordlt command.

Root Cause

A data disk was inserted by the user by mistake into one of the first 4 slots in the controller/disk enclosure.

1. Use the command 'sddebug show disk' to check the block device id.

For newer versions of firmware, debug mode is no longer available. Use the command from developer mode.

2. Then use 'change disk clearerrordlt sdid=?' to clear the disk information.
