The procedure to change the credentials for user admin in an OceanStor 2200 V3 where executed successfully via serial cable, but when the login is tried in the device manager the login shows password error.
After a lot of attempts to change the password the CLI shows the next message:
WARNING: You have accessed the system.
You are required to have a personal authorization from the system administrator before you use this computer of this system is prohibited.
Suggestion: Try again later.
After a lot of attempts to change the password without success the storage was isolated from the network to execute the procedure to change the password without other management software trying to log in.
In the OceanStor Controllers:
Label and disconnect only the management cables.
This is to isolate the OceanStor of the Network.
Execute the procedure to change the password again, after this in your laptop establish a ssh connection to the management port in the OceanStor Controller A to try again the login. Now the login is successful review the Root Cause and Solution before connect again the management cables in the OceanStor Controllers.
FusionCloud UltraVR was trying to login in the OceanStor with the same user but with the old credentials. So this cause the login failure for all the attempts with the user admin because were using the same credentials.
1. Disconnect the storage mgmt interface
2. Login in the storage by _super_admin by serial console
3. Initial the password of admin
run "initpasswd" command and wait 30 minutes
4. Try login again in the device manager
5. Login success
Some other management software could be affecting the login for admin as the same way if the other management software use the same credentials
