Cannot use FXS line when connect it to Nortel pbx

Issue Description

Customer use fxs port of IAD to be connected as AT0 trunk to Nortel pbx when try to use this trunk from Nortel pbx it was unable to dial 

Alarm Information

unable to make any calls from fxs port when connect it as trunk to Nortel pbx 

Handling Process

- connect the fxs port to analog phone directly and confirm it can dial and recieve calls ormally 

- checked the Nortel side and confirmed that it only support the pulse signal for analog trunk 

- enable the pulse signal detection function for that fxs port then it works fine 

Root Cause

- the Nortel pbx only support pulse signal for analog trunks that connected to it so after enable the pulse detection function for that fxs port 


1- login to IAD web page 
2- Choose Advanced Configuration > User Port Attribute Configuration.

3- select the fxs port that connected to nortel side and click modify 
4- enable the pulse signal detection parameter for that port
