Customer claimed one HDD is faulty. The error is not appear in iBMC log . However, when check the OS log, the error is noticed in sdk disk. This can be found in dmseg log.
Then, go to "disk" -- 'system block"
From the screenshot below, sdk disk is missing, which means sdk disk is faulty
after that, go to the 'smart disk' to check the disk capacity. or can use the server SN to check the disk capacity in CMES. In this case, disk before or disk after sdk disk can used as reference. We can use sdj to check.
From the above log, we will use the serial number and search in 'raid'-- 'sashbalog'
Then we will use the SN of the server to determine the BOM of the disk in CMES.

3 Use SN of the server to find the BOM for the disk in CMES
4 Proceed RMA and send good disk to customer
