SMC2.0 License file Invalid after server reboot.

Issue Description

After Load the SMC2.0 License, once the Server reboot, the license will become invalid.

License Status : None

SMC2.0 Version : V6R6C00SPC500

Handling Process

User wish to solve the issue immidiately.

Therefore rather than Upgrade to V6R6C00SPC600, below option also can solve the issue.

1.)  Remove the built-in SC from SMC2.0,

2.)Import the SMC2.0 License and then add the built-in SC again.

3.)Try to reboot the server few time and the License Stauts is remain the same.

Root Cause

After SMC2.0 Server  shutdown the License will restore back to the factory setting.

The actual bugs is the SMC2.0 license did not import successfully (built-in SC partial import failure).


1.)    Upgrade to the V6R6C00SPC600 version and then re-import the License.

2.)    Remove the built-in SC from SMC, then import the SMC2.0 License and then add the built-in SC again. Reboot the server for verification.
