4 SoftVCN were deployed at core site for the video backup of the 7 campuses.Softvcn's were working as stacked nodes, having one master softvcn Under a single VMU.User was not able to clone cameras more than 500 cameras while license of 500 cameras were loaded on all the 4 softvcn.
I was using VMU ip for login in to the VMU client so that i can see all the campus cameras and softvcn for cloning.
First i login to the OMU portal of the VMU and analysed the domain configuration. This project used stacked configuration for the VCN and softvcn.
Each Campus had one master and other slaves.Softvcn were deployed in the HQ in same configuration.
Softvcn was under the VMU and in stacked configuration with only one domain ,license of 500 cameras were loaded on all the 4 softvcn.
Campus and Softvcn were parallel to each other.
Upon analyzing issue was with the softvcn domain configuration.
Step1:Login to Master softvcn OMU Portal
Step2:Clcik on the local configurations and edit Basic configuration
Step3:Make it Active node/main ,change its domain to softvcn1,insert the VMU IP and save
Step4:Make all the remaining softvcn active/main ,input the domain name and input the VMU IP in the same way as step3.
Step5:Login to OMU portal of VMU and click on system mangement and than click on the VMU child drop down.
Now you will see that all the softvcn have seprate domain now with 500 cameras capacity each.
Step6:Click on the license tab in VMU OMU portal
Step7:click on license import and see the campcaity of each softvcn it will be showing 500 cameras each.
Step8:Login to the VMU IVS client and clone the cameras of campsues to respective softvcns.
