The customer uses OceanStor N8500 V200R001C00SPC100 file engine and OceanStor S2600T V100R005C01 storage system. The customer's internal network does not have a domain server. A local user name is used to create CIFS share and FTP shares. After a file is uploaded using an FTP client, the file name contains garbled characters and the file cannot be opened.
Use a third-party FTP client and set the character encoding format of the client to UTF-8. Then upload a file through the FTP client. The file name is displayed normally and the file can be opened.
The character encoding format of customer's client is different from that of the OceanStor N8500 file engine. As a result, the name of the uploaded file contains garbled characters.
If the same problem occurs, use a third-party FTP client to upload files and verify that Huawei file engine and related configurations are correct.
