Unable to log out from an eSpace 7910

Issue Description

The customer has in the same network office two eSpace IP phones 7910 with the same firmware version, but he is unable to log out from one of it (the other one is working properly) due to missing log out button on the LCD of the IPphone.

IP 10.200.77.67 – functioning properly


IP 10.200.77.66 – does not have a LOG Out button on the LCD/Menu of the IPHONE (cannot change SIP accounts)



Solution

After investigation the conclusion is that the configuration files are not the same for the phones.

On the reported phone with the IP 10.200.77.66 and username 8506 there were some fields missing compared to the 8503 (with IP 10.200.77.67).

I have modified the working configuration file with the data from the 10.200.77.66 and it worked. The logout icon is now visible and functioning.
