Issue Description

The antivirus software of the user PC found a virus, but the NGFW did not block the virus.

Handling Process

Cause 1: Virus traffic does not match the expected security policy.

1. Choose Policy > Security Policy > Security Policy. Check whether the antivirus function is configured for the security policy whose source security zone is trust and destination security zone is untrust and the security policy whose source security zone is untrust and destination security zone is dmz.

If the antivirus function is not configured for the security policies, check the parameter settings of the security policies.

− If the configuration is correct, configure the antivirus function for the security policy. After a period of time, choose Monitor > Log > Threat Log to check whether any virus is blocked.

− If the configuration is incorrect, adjust the security policy sequence or parameters.

If the antivirus function has been configured for the security policies, go to cause 2.

Cause 2: The antivirus function does not block the traffic of this virus.

1. Check the parameter settings of the antivirus profile referenced by the security policy whose source security zone is trust and destination security zone is untrust and the security policy whose source security zone is untrust and destination security zone is dmz.
