Unable to add SIP on SMC 2.0

Issue Description

Customer XXX from XXX country unable to add/register SIP on SMC 2.0. GK/H323 is able to be registered without any problem

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1) Check on SIP User Authentication between SMC and Endpoint ( In this case TE 30)




2)  Check on the SMC and Endpoint Version, if its compatible ( reference can be made from release note )




3) Go to SC>Edit and check in the SIP registration is allowed ( in this case not allowed )


Root Cause

UDP and TCP authentication mode in SC is not allowed ( untick ) that disallowed the registration of SIP to take place between SMC and Endpoint

Solution

Go to SC>Edit and allow ( Tick ) UDP and TCP registration for SMC 2.0 

Upon checking on this parameters both the SMC and Endpoint SIP can be registered
