Customer have below tow issues with Neteco V600R007C90SPC310
1) NetEco is very Slow when customer operator webUI.
2) Some devices has Communication Between NMS And NE Is Abnormal alarm sometimes, it last short time.
Why NetEco management is too Slow?
1) In order to check whether the database space meets NetEco requirements in a timely manner, we added database check function in V600R007C90, the routine is 5 min on customer’s NetEco software.
2) After analyzing, the activity is too busy for NetEco server if the routine is 5 min. The disk can’t carry so much data, then NetEco run slowly.
below Figure showed WA occupied 11.2% space, that mean IO is very busy if the value over 10%.
below Figure show IO is around 100%, disk read data too much, it would cause NetEco be slow.
3) Because NetEco‘s database space notification depends on rate. The daily data volume of this NetEco is small, so the time to check the database space can be modify from 5 mins to 24 hours. And the new version NetEco V600R007C90SPC320 check routine is also 24h.
Why the Communication Between NMS And NE Is Abnormal alarm?
1) According to historical alarm, logs and IO status, the disconnection was caused by NetEco server busy. The message from NetEco to device is time out because of NetEco busy, at this time, NetEco can’t make connection with devices.
2) After verification, resolving NetEco slow problem can resolve disconnection alarm.
Database space check function has too short routine value. It caused NetEco server too busy.
1) We resolved the issue by modifying value from 5mins to 24 hours.
2) Actually in the latest version V600R007C90SPC320, this value has been improved to 24 hours.
