Issue Description

new project have many sites an need to add ECC800 to Neteco and the problem is cannot add ECC800 to Neteco and showes alarm on Neteco : Communication Between NMS And NE Is Abnormal

Handling Process

 1. We can ping ECC800 from NetEco background (sever). We can ping NetEco IP from ECC800 background.

 2.ECC800 setting is correct which is related NetEco.

 3.No other abnormal operation on ECC800 and NetEco from operation logs and customer's feedback.

 4.we found the root cause is on network during troubleshooting . The 31220 port can't connection well 

  He  can telnet this port 31220 from NOC IP.

But when we replaced the ECC800 by PC on Site 2 . and use telnetcommand to NOC neteco IP. but it shows failded.

It is recommended that the customer check the firewall settings and check whether the 31220 port of the NetEco is opened to  the ECC800. Pleaseverify the firewall setting for XXXX Sites.  Site 1 and Site 2 have thesame Problem.


 

Root Cause

port 31220 is not available. customer check the firewall settings and check whether the 31220 port of the NetEco is opened to  the ECC800. Please verify the firewall setting for  XXXX Sites.

Solution

New subnet xx.xx.xx.xx  access has been allowed onfirewall level and issue has been resolved after confirmation by NOC.

Before installation check and open all ports required for ECC800 and Neteco
