Issue Description

LLDP peers fail to be discovered when an NE40E-X8 is directly connected to an AR3260.

Handling Process

1. Check that the device version is V800R009C10SPC200.

2. Check the key device configurations.

Ensure that LLDP has been enabled globally and on a specific interface.

Configuration on the NE40E-X8:

3. Check that LLDP peers can be properly discovered when the interconnection interface is an optical interface or another electrical interface.

 

Root Cause

The NE40E-X8 V8 currently supports LLDP peer discovery only through Ethernet physical interfaces.
