Issue Description

The service from ABC Switch can be VLAN 100, 200, 300 and 400 coming from customer. So it is multiple vlan going into one EX4 - port 1.

The PWE3 service will carry different VLAN serivce to drop at different port at XYZ Switch.

When different VLAN (100,200,300,400) going in port EX4 Port 1, how to check/monitor any statistic regarding the incoming traffic ?

We need to match with customer switch (VLAN 100,200,300,400) and help them drop service at XYZ switch based on VLANs. We need see whether customer have incoming traffic when we do implementation.

Lets say VLAN 100, 200, 300, the service is running good, but VLAN 400 service is being interuppted. So I can see the statistic for each VLANs ?

Solution

You can monitor vlan traffic base UNI port.

Navigate to 'NE Explorer' of the NE.

If traffic running with VLAN, try to find it through “Configuration > Packet Configuration > Ethernet service management > E-Line Service > right click > browse performance ”

And then you will found “performance management ”> statistic group > VLAN ID.
