Call Initiated on the SMC2.0 Is Disconnected After Being Forwarded by the SC to the U1981

Publication Date:  2019-04-04 Views:  48 Downloads:  0
Issue Description

A call is initiated on the SMC. After the call is forwarded by the SC to the U1981, a message is prompted indicating that the call is disconnected. The call flow is MCU-SC-U1981-PSTN.

Handling Process

1. Start a call and capture packets on the SC, MCU, and U1981.

The U1981 carries SDP capabilities through a 183 message, instead of a 200 OK message in normal cases.

Logs show that the call is disconnected because the MCU does not support this message.

2. Product experts confirm that it is uncommon to use the 183 message to carry media packets and the 183 message conflicts with the MCU's 100Rel flow. Log in to the MCU and run the following command:

HUAWEI VP9630>system-view conf-policy use100Rel

use100Rel {0:disable 1:enable}[0]: 0

Info:set the SIP Use100Rel finish!

<HUAWEI VP9630>sa

are you sure to save config?(y/n):y

Info:save config success!

The problem is rectified.
