RSE6500 Prompts an Error of Non-MP4 Formats

Publication Date:  2019-04-04 Views:  58 Downloads:  0
Issue Description

A customer downloads a large video recording file from the RSE6500, edit it with Format Factory, convert it to the MP4 format, and import it back to the RSE6500. An error is reported saying that the file is not in MP4 format.

Handling Process

Use Format Factory to convert the MP4 format again, this time with the coding type set to H.264 AAC.

Root Cause

The RSE6500 uses the H264 AAC coding, but Format Factory uses the MPEG4 coding. The inconsistent coding causes the problem.

Use the H264 AAC coding to convert the format.
