An Incorrect Portal Page Is Pushed During Agile Controller-Campus Portal Authentication

Publication Date:  2019-04-12 Views:  141 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

When Agile Controller-Campus running V100R003C30SPC100 is used, the page pushed to users for Portal authentication is the default page, but not a customized page.

Handling Process

Configure a customized page pushing policy to push a customized Portal page to the terminals accessing a specific SSID. It is found in the test that the default page is pushed to the users connecting to the SSID and the users are authenticated.

Native AC is configured on switches on the live network. Check the configuration on a switch. It is found that the configuration in the web-auth-server template is as follows:

web-auth-server portal

 port 50200

 shared-key cipher %^%#:1%;+DM+t*I&x}7"An$=>L.4KJI[APFs=u-^5;CK%^%#

 url-template portal

 server-detect interval 100 max-times 5 critical-num 1 action log

The URL template on the live network is configured as follows:

url-template name portal

Root Cause

The parameters carried in the URL determine the page pushed to users by Agile Controller-Campus. In the URL template invoked by the web-auth-server template, only the URL of the pushed page is configured, but the parameters that need to be carried in the URL are not configured. Therefore, Agile Controller-Campus cannot obtain the related SSID information. As a result, the customized Portal page cannot be matched and pushed to users.

Set the parameters carried in the URL template.

[AC] url-template name portal

[AC-url-template-portal] url-parameter ssid ssid
