The SMC2.0 fails to call an H.323 participant, with a message indicating that a circular route is detected. However, the SMC2.0 can successfully call a SIP participant into the conference. See the following figure.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1. Check the GK registration status of the MCU and terminal on the SMC. The GK registration status of both the MCU and terminal is online.

2. Check the SC route configuration. No route is configured. The MCU's GE1 network port is configured to work in backup mode.

3. Log in to the MCU web interface and check its GK configuration. It is found that the embedded GK is enabled. Disable the embedded GK and enter the correct SC address. Now the terminal can be successfully called into the conference. The GK address registered of the MCU is changed as follows:

You are advised to log in to the terminal's web interface to check whether the GK address is the correct SC address. The correct SC address may not have been used as the GK address for MCU's registration, even if a successful registration message is displayed for the SMC2.0 and MCU.
