Issue Description

eSight V300R003 is used earlier. This version does not support the WLAN fault diagnosis function. Later, eSight is upgraded to V300R007C00SPC300 and the WLAN fault diagnosis function fails to be used.

A message is displayed, indicating no permission or that the diagnosis object does not exist or the diagnosis function is not supported.

Handling Process

1. Check the AC version.

The AC is an S12700 switch and uses the X1E board. The switch version is V200R010.

2. Check whether the AC is upgraded.

Upgrade the S12700 switch to V200R010.

Root Cause
In V300R007C00SPC300, WLAN fault diagnosis supports only AC and ACU2 and does not support X-series boards of switches
Solution

Do not use fault diagnosis for X-series boards of switches. In V300R007C00SPC300, WLAN fault diagnosis supports only AC and ACU2 and does not support X-series boards of switches.

Suggestions

1. WLAN fault diagnosis is supported only in V200R006C00 and later versions.

2. In V300R007C00SPC300, WLAN fault diagnosis supports only AC and ACU2 and does not support X-series boards of switches.
