Issue Description

Method used to upgrade a cross-connect board on an MSTP device

Solution

To upgrade the cross-connect board on an MSTP device, perform the following steps:
1. On the NMS, delete the standby logical cross-connect board, replace the cross-connect board, and then add the corresponding logical board.
2. Query the current NE alarms. If the HSC_UNAVAIL alarm is cleared, perform active/standby switching.
3. On the NMS, delete the active logical cross-connect board, replace the cross-connect board, and then add the corresponding logical board.
4. Query the current NE alarms. If the HSC_UNAVAIL alarm is cleared, the upgrade is complete.
5. Check whether the active/standby cross-connect board switching is normal.
You are advised to apply for an operation time from the customer because services will be interrupted for 50 ms during the active/standby cross-connect board switching.
