Publication Date:  2019-04-16 Views:  58 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

On an NE20E-S8 at a site, the time a BFD UP log is generated in logbuffer is different from that in trapbuffer. The time difference is nearly 2 minutes.

Handling Process

Check the product document. It is found that the NE20E-S8 determines the BFD traps to be sent for BFD sessions 2 minutes after the BFD trap timer expires. Therefore, the difference between the time a BFD UP log is generated in logbuffer and the that in trapbuffer is 2 minutes at most.

Root Cause

The NE20E-S8 determines the BFD traps to be sent for BFD sessions 2 minutes after the BFD trap timer expires. Therefore, the difference between the time a BFD UP log is generated in logbuffer and the that in trapbuffer is 2 minutes at most.
