A customer reported that PSU backplanes 1 and 2 of an RH5885H V3 server cannot be scanned on the LCD, as shown in the following figure.
Try to replicate this problem. It is found that this problem was not replicated on an RH5885H V3 server configured with four PSUs and only occurred on a server with two PSUs.
Typically, you can configure two or four PSUs on an RH5885H V3 server. When four PSUs are configured, two PSU backplanes are required; otherwise, PSU backplanes 1 and 2 cannot be scanned on the LCD. If four PSUs are configured but PSU backplanes 1 and 2 still cannot be scanned, check whether the PSU backplanes are abnormal. If only two PSUs are configured, PSU backplanes 1 and 2 cannot be scanned on the LCD. This scanning result is normal.
Check the configuration of PSUs. If there are four PSUs, reinstall or replace the PSU backplanes to determine whether the backplanes are faulty. If there are two PSUs, this scanning result is normal.
