1. Analyze the error message on the OS.

Error message: "Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-processor-Power"

Due to a firmware problem, the power management function on processor 31 in group 0 is disabled. Contact the computer manufacturer to obtain the latest firmware.

2. Modify the BIOS configuration.

Change power management parameter settings in the BIOS.

Path: IntelRCSetup > Advanced Power Management Configuration > CPU P State Control > EIST & Turbo Mode

Method: Set both EIST and Turbo Mode to Enable.

Method: Set Monitor/Mwait to Enable.



Root Cause
