Live Video Played on the CU Client Is Cut When the IVS Connects to a Competitor's Camera

Publication Date:  2019-04-20 Views:  99 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

When a competitor's camera is added to the VCN3000 using the ONVIF, the video played on the client and the video played on the camera web UI are cut.

Handling Process

1. The web UI ratio of a competitor's camera is 4:3, while that of the IVS client is 16:9. Therefore, adjust the ratio of the IVS client.

2. Check whether the resolution on the camera is different from that on the client. The camera obtains images from different areas on the sensor when the resolutions are different.
Therefore, change the resolution of the camera web UI and the resolution of the client. (On the camera management page, right-click the camera and choose Configuration from the shortcut menu. On the displayed tab page, modify the resolution.)
3. After the modifications, the images are consistent and are not cut.

Suggestions

The camera obtains images from different areas on the sensor when the resolutions are different.
