Service Processes Cannot Be Started After VCM5010 V100R002C20 Is Restarted

Publication Date:  2019-04-20 Views:  99 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

After the VCM5010 is reinstalled, the system functions properly. After the system is restarted, a majority of service processes cannot be started and services are stopped.

Handling Process

Manually start the processes based on their priorities. The processes can be manually started one by one. After all service processes are started, the system functions normally.
According to the preceding analysis, the problem is caused by the automatic process startup mechanism.
The system processes are detected, managed, and implemented through the SEM-AGENT. The logs of the SEM-Agent are analyzed.
According to the logs, "network is down" and "start network now" are repeatedly reported.

Check the network configuration, including the IP address and gateway information, as prompted.

Root Cause

The IP address and gateway address of the server are set to the same IP address. During the check, the script considers that the network status of the server is abnormal and does not allow the process of the server to automatically start to prevent dirty data from being generated.
As the server is deployed in the LAN, the gateway address is not required. As a result, the problem does not exist in other aspects.

Run vi to change the gateway address in the /etc/sysconfig/network/routes file.
Run rcnetwork restart to restart the network service to ensure that the network is normal.
After the server is restarted, the system processes can be started normally. The problem is solved.

Check the configuration item first and use logs to locate the fault.
