In a customer environment where FusionAccess V100R006C10 is deployed, when a desktop cloud user uses an HL-5580D printer to print materials, an error occurs indicating that the user does not has the right to use network resources. In this environment, some computers are directly connected to printers while the rest use the adjacent shared printers. The driver is installed on the directly connected printers only. The shared configuration and duplex printing settings are effective only once.
Right-click Computer, choose System Properties, and select Device Manager. Enable Windows firewalls in the services and applications. Then printers can be shared.
Choose My Computer > Network to view network resources shared by other computers. Enter the username and password as prompted and let the password be remembered. After login, click to install the network printer and set the printer as the default one. The printer prints materials normally. After being restarted, the printer still functions properly.
On the Devices and Printers page, select the printer identified by the VM to go to the window for configuring printing. Select duplex printing and save the configuration. Print a material to confirm that the configuration is effective.
