RADIUS Authentication Fails During User Login to an NE40E V600R008

Symptom: With RADIUS authentication configured in the domain, users fail to log in to NE40Es through SSH.

Handling Process

Run the diag command in the system view to enter the diagnostic view. Enable the debugging function.

Analyze the authentication process. The following abnormality is found:

Root Cause

The user's authorization information does not exist. The information returned by the RADIUS server does not include the authorization information.


Configure adminuser-priority in the domain to assign permissions to the local.

After the configuration is complete, authentication succeeds and the NE40E can be logged in properly.
