No Sound Is Heard When Voice Intercom Is Enabled on the VCN3000

Publication Date:  2019-04-23 Views:  63 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

The IPC6325 camera is connected to the platform using the T28181 protocol. After logging in to the VCN3000 IVS client, the user enabled channel-associated voice or voice intercom on the live video viewing page, but no sound is heard.

Step 1

Log in to the camera Web UI, and choose Configuration > Basic Configuration > Audio and Video Stream Parameters. The default user name and password are admin and HuaWei123 respectively.

Step 2

Set the audio stream format to G.711a or G.711u.

If this parameter does not exist on the camera configuration page, the camera does not support channel-associated voice or voice intercom.

Step 3

Click Save. Set audio parameters on the camera Web UI.

Step 4

Log in to the C/S client corresponding to the camera and choose Device Management > Local Device.

Step 5

In the device list, double-click the camera. The Configuration tab page is displayed.

Step 6

Choose Audio settings and set Data Format to G711A or G711U. The value of Data Format set on the C/S client must be the same as the value of audio stream format set on the camera Web UI.

Step 7

Click Save. The problem is solved
