Issue Description

On an NE40E V600R008, the number of ARP entries displayed in the display arp statistics all command output is different from that in the display arp all command output.

Solution

[NE40E-X8]  display  arp statistics  all

This command displays the number of ARP entries on all boards (main control board+interface board).

For example, if the trunk interface has only one member interface and ARP entries are learned, the number of ARP entries in this command output is 2 (one for the main control board and one for the interface board).

[NE40E-X8] display  arp all

This command displays the number of ARP entries on all boards (with repetitive ARP entries excluded). In the previous example, only one ARP entry is displayed in the command output.

To view the number of ARP entries on a specified board, run the following commands:

display  arp statistics slot X

display arp slot X
