Publication Date:  2019-04-24 Views:  63 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

An ME60 assigns an IP address to a Huawei AP. The AP and AC are interconnected at Layer 3. The Option 53 field must be specified for ME60 assignment so that the AP can properly go online.

The mainstream ME60 versions support the following Option 43 field settings:

option 43 suboption 2 ip

option 43 suboption 3 string    //Corresponding to the ASCII field for AC controller and switch configuration

option 43 hex 03 09 31 30 2e 32 30 2e 30 2e 36   //This parameter determines how to interconnect with third-party devices. Setting this parameter to hex is recommended.

In the preceding configurations, 03 indicates a data packet modification, 09 indicates the IP address length (which is the number of digits in an IP address, with a dot also considered as a digit), and 31 30 32 30 30 36 indicates each digit in an IP address in decimal notation (with 3 added to each digit). The IP address in this command can be translated to For detailed translation methods, search for cases based on the keyword Hex conversion.
